Lyle K. Rawlings, P.E.
Lyle Rawlings is one of the nation’s most respected professionals in the field of solar energy, with over twenty-three years’ experience in R&D, design, and policy work in alternate energy. Mr. Rawlings is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. As President of Advanced Solar Products and as President of the non-profit R&D firm programs as the U.S.D.O.E. PV:BONUS program to develop and commercialize PV-integrated modular homes; the construction of the first PV/hydrogen fuel cell power station in the U.S.; and the development of the world’s most advanced zero-emission car, the New Jersey Genesis, among others. As President of the Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association, Mr. Rawlings has been instrumental in the creation of governmental incentives and funding for solar energy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania; in the formulation of regulatory standards for net metering and interconnection; and other topics of concern to the solar industry. Edward Seliga
Ed Seliga has managed engineering projects in the commercial real estate industry for more than fourteen years. He has operated a private practice as an environmental and facility management consultant, with a particular focus on energy system improvements for commercial buildings, for the last several years. Prior to that, he was employed for twelve years as Manager of Environmental Engineering for a prominent commercial real estate company in New Jersey. In that capacity, he managed the modernization of energy systems and provided oversight for all aspects of environmental compliance for a forty-building complex totaling 1.3 million square feet. Mr. Seliga also worked for three years in international management consulting. As Project Manager (and Assistant to the President) of the International Negotiation Institute in Princeton, NJ, he managed projects on four continents which emphasized the importance of relationships for international business success.
