1. What services does Advanced Solar Products offer?
Advanced Solar Products (ASP) provides full-service solar solutions, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), solar PV installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and operations and maintenance (O&M) for commercial and industrial (C&I) projects.
2. What types of solar projects do you specialize in?
We specialize in a range of solar PV solutions: rooftop, ground-mount, solar canopies, battery, community solar, and agrivoltaics. Our team handles everything from initial design to commissioning and long-term system care.
3. What is the minimum and maximum system size you work on?
For EPC services, we typically work on solar PV projects starting at 500 kW DC, depending on location and portfolio scope. Our team is equipped to handle systems up to 30 MW DC, delivering high-performance solutions at every scale.
4. What financing options do you offer?
While Advanced Solar Products does not provide direct financing, we partner with a network of trusted financiers who offer a range of solar financing options. We can connect you with the right financing partners to support your project's goals, including power purchase agreements (PPAs) and leases.
5. Do you offer battery energy storage solutions?
Yes. ASP integrates battery energy storage systems (BESS) with new and existing solar PV systems to improve energy reliability, reduce demand charges, and support grid resilience.
6. Why is O&M so important?
O&M stands for Operations and Maintenance. It ensures your solar PV system performs efficiently over its lifespan. Our O&M services include system monitoring, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
7. Are your solar installations eligible for tax credits or incentives?
Absolutely. We help clients understand and access available local, state, and federal incentives, including the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and SREC programs, depending on your project location and type.
8. Where does ASP operate?
Advanced Solar Products is based in New Jersey and serves clients across the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic, including New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and beyond.
9. I have an issue with my commercial solar PV system. Can ASP help?
Yes, with just a little bit of key information about your system, ASP can provide you with guidance on next steps. ASP often trouble shoots PV systems and can provide assistance with repairs and even removals and replacements if necessary.
10. Does ASP have experience with building on sensitive sites, such as on brownfields and greenfields?
Yes! ASP has built numerous solar PV systems on closed and capped landfills and on brownfield sites. We work closely with our civil engineering partners to ensure that all environmental regulations are satisfied, the PV systems do not impact the landfill cap or disturb soil underneath, and that any ongoing well monitoring can continue to be maintained by the client.
